
Josh and I are making use of our time "off" to explore the (free) parts of Seattle that we haven't enjoyed thoroughly yet. Largely this means climbing a lot of stairs, because Seattleites like to hide things at the bottoms of cliffs. Today's stair tour took us to Golden Gardens.
It has a beach:

And is surrounded by trees and flanked by railroad tracks:

It's not a bad place to be unemployed. Plus, when I got home, I found an ad on Craigslist for Telephone Actresses. My destiny awaits.

The marshy area is about 10 steps off the beach. It's crazy cool.
